Group, as a stand alone purchase, is not subscription base, it come with 5 active installs.
It is not subscription so it should still work permanently, on Windows version that it compatible with.
Nothing change for your Fences 3 installation after your purchase Groupy 2.
Not sure why it cannot be transfer to your laptop as long as it is compatible with Groupy 2.
