Fences Upgrade

Upgrade Fences 3 to 5

from Stardock Forums

Dear Fences Team,
I ordered Stardock Fences 3 years before. I used and updated version 3 since today. I'm very pleased of this tool. But now, I would like to buy the newest Fences (5). Is it possible to take over the configured Fences windows on my PC to Fences 5 directly?

Hello,
Your layout snapshots should be unchanged and when you install Fences 5, it will use that same layout. So your Fences should still appear at the same configuration.

Just in case anything goes wrong, you can use this guide to backup your setting using this guide: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots
