Hi,

Is it something usual or a bug in my setup :

when my system is set up in dark mode, every time I launch an application or restore it from being minimized in taskbar, I get the application window area displayed in white for a brief time THEN windowblinds gets on top and skin in.

 

I have a bad glaucoma blinding me with white areas so this issue is very upsetting me.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know if this issue on specific WB theme or any theme. Can you name a few themes that you having issue so I can verify it on my Win10 system.

Hi, I've tried 

dark mode by vad_M

delta quadrant, endeavour, by 2of3

fI8t by nickyount

simply dark classic by... basj/jazian

venom by vstyler

 

They all give me a white opening flash, some shorter than others, especially when opening the browser brave, explorer or my file manager Xplorer2.

Unfortunately, I was hoping that WB would resolve this stupid W10 displaying some UI parts in dark  text on <hite backgrounds, even in dark mode like run dialog, parts of configuration panel, etc...

Hello,

I tested with my Simply dark classic and yes I see that white box appear for less than a second when I open Brave. But, then, I disable Windowblinds by loading default Windows theme, restart Explorer.exe. And the white box still appear when I open Brave again. So I am not sure if it from Windowblinds. It might be just how Windows or the Application itself load up. You sure it was Windowblinds causing it?

Unfortunately brave isn't the sole issue : I get the same flash with explorer, UE64, with my xplorer2 file manager, photoshop, every other browsers chrome firefox...

Honestly, the white flash does happen with or without Windowblind skin applied. I tested with default Windows theme and load chrome, explorer etc.. all will load white first than the dark windows theme applies. If I have to guess, it is just the way dark theme get applies.
