Smilies in posts?

OK...if you have a smiley...say...in your "My Documents" folder...is there a way to use it in posts from there or does it need to be on a webpage somewhere?

Mr Xaltec...if you click on the links link you will find sites that you can just copy the images from and save them in your folders. Actually here's a page I found..it's in german but you can still see the smilies.

you don't have to download them. just right click on the emoticon. They have a gallery of them. choose view image. In the address bar copy the link. you should know the rest. Heres one below:

ahh yeh but most sites dont like ya direct linkin to their images .. it eats up their band width .. every time any one loads this page it has to dl the image from the host site. even just that little image, after many page views here can run up a lot of bandwidth use for the hosting site....
