Multiplicity 3.60 Release Feedback Thread

Multiplicity 3.60 Release Feedback Thread

With the Multiplicity 3.60 release, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.

Obtaining the product

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager

Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

For guest check-out purchase (no account), from this link: http://www.stardock.com/support/productkeyretrieval

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)

  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen

  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), with a shared link included in your post.  Images can be copied and pasted directly into a post.

  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Multiplicity a better product.

Windows 10 Pro  22H2 19045.4412

Multiplicity 3 KVM 3.6 Build 00105.kvm

The original Simplified Chinese translation looks like a machine translation, many features were hard to understand. I had submitted a polished Simplified Chinese translation in Github. Important, the language file does not work in some interfaces (for example, the entire control bar of KVM, Welcome Windows etc.), and some controls still display in English. The language file does include this part of the content, but it is not work.

that doesn't fix anything. same problem, same version it is obviously only working on the PCs that have stripped down windows features, and doesn't work at all in the vanilla education install.

os 22621.2861

os 22621.1702

the two 22621.1702 also run into problems intermittently but seem to be working nowish. The support for copy and paste is awful, to the point that I would never spend another cent on this program, but unfortunately no other vender offers client side support with greater stability either, such as unmaintained barrier.

This post lacks any context, Fastmaid.. What problem? What is not working...?

If whatever the issue may be is not unique to MP 3.60, please create your own thread detailing what issues you are having and we will assist.

Just please be mindful of how you phrase what you feel is the current state of the application and our commitment to it.  I have already edited one of your other posts today and I would rather not have to continue to do that.

I would prefer not to spend 60 dollars on a product that doesn't work.

The problem is the same one the other person you responded to had.

the clipboard doesn't work. copy paste doesn't work, drag and drop doesn't work. it's only to that PC. Firewall is off on everything, both PCs have had the fix file and other steps ran on them. this is the version of multiplicity I have. if the bug is not exclusive to this version I dont see why it would matter, it's obviously IN this version and my feedback is this level of stability is not worth 60 dollars.

I've also had other bugs too but they are harder to replicate and I developed my own strategies to getting out of them. (usually relates to the mouse getting locked on a secondary display) those ones are harder to replicate though so I felt less inclined to report them, but theoretically they are even worse since if you cant figure out the escape on your own you can lose all progress on the main machine.

Fastmaid, when you are prepared to create your own thread, following these guidelines, we look forward to working with you to see why some features - that work for nearly all others - are not working for you.

I have one Windows 11 PC and one iPad model A1670. First, connect the keyboard and mouse to Windows 11. And can I operate iPad model A1670?
