Groupy 2 Public Beta #2 Feedback Thread

With the Groupy 2 Public Beta #2 release, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.

Obtaining the product

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager

Individual purchases (as well as Object Desktop Members) can also be obtained from your account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

For guest check-out purchase (no account), from this link: http://www.stardock.com/support/productkeyretrieval

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)

  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen

  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), with a shared link included in your post.  Images can be copied and pasted directly into a post.

  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

Thank you for your interest and any time you put into making Groupy 2 a better product.

In Groupy2 beta 2 under "Grouping rules" the "Block / allow applications" section does not scroll anymore. In the previous version it scrolled horizontally and worked fine. Now it has changed to scroll vertically and does not work. If you click on the partially hidden app at the bottom of the list, it scrolls up one app at a time. You have to close and reopen the Groupy config app to get it to reset back to the top of the list.

Windows 10 - 19045.3086 (This is the patch Tuesday update for June.)

Thanks for reporting this.  As a workaround you can click on one of the items and move up / down the list using the arrow keys.

Thanks for the workaround. I didn't think to try the arrow keys. B)
