Quick, Early, 1.51.376650.1 Observations

I just started a new game under 1.51.376650.1 and have a couple of quick observations:

  1. It appears that the type of sun once again determines the resources found around it (Durantium around red stars, Promethium around purple stars, etc.).  I think this is a good thing.
  2. I started with the ability to build Constructors.  Is this true now for all civilizations or just the YOR?

Here is another one:

I am only on turn 15 and suddenly I can build a "Packet" ship that is a "Cruiser Hull" ship (see screen snapshot below).

How did that happen?

Here are a couple more:

  1. The screen snapshot below shows the popup text for an Artifact.  The text says "They are rare ...", but the screen snapshot shows 4 of them near each other.
  2. It appears that successfully attacking another ship no longer ends your ship's turn.  If it still has moves left it can keep going.  Is this an intentional change?  If so, I like it!
