OK, well, I have always wanted to run my own contest, and I have $60 burning a hole in my pocket to do it with. (OK, so I really don't have a lot of money, but I'm willing to share, and it's Christmas time.........)
I have heard many comments about how people want a subscription but don't have any money. They also find it hard to work their way up to a user level that will give them unlimited downloads by "contributing", so here is your chance to win a WC subscription from me. This is paid by me, not Stardock, so I am the full judge and jury of this.
Here are the rules:
1) you must submit a new work that is fully your own
2) it must be a WB skin, IP or DesktopX object/theme
3) it must be submitted between 12/10/03 and 12/22/03
4) you must indicate that it is for this contest in the comments section
5) you must email me with your full contact info and a reason why you should win (angie@stardock.com with the title of: contest)
6) it has to make it through moderation in order to be considered.
I will not moderate any of the contest submissions myself. I will judge them and notify the winners on 12/23/03 If you already have a subscription, I will buy an extension for it, otherwise you will get a new subscription. There will be three winners. The winners will be chosen from all categories, so all three winners could be from the same category. Feel free to submit more than one entry!
