Start11 small task bar is is truncated following Windows 11 update.

Hi folks, perhaps you can look at the title issue.  The clock and keyboard icons are truncated at the bottom of the screen with the Start11 small taskbar.   The reason I use Start11 was to access the small task bar.  It worked great until today.  Upgrade was to Windows is Win 11, 22H2, Build 22621.1344.

Mine is not truncated, however it doesn't change its size. I use small taskbar at the top of the screen, and it always stays at "Medium" size regardless of the settings. Small and Large all look the same.

Now I see what the issue is "Enhance the taskbar" is now mandatory for this Windows 11 update to change the taskbar size I guess. I've always had it disabled because then "TrafficMonitor" is not visible in the taskbar.

I enabled "enhance the taskbar" just for testing and I see the exact same problem as you guys. Vertically truncated taskbar.

Windows 11 (microsoft)  just keeps on giving. I hate Micro$oft.

I see this same issue. It definitely occurred after installing the 2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022913) update from Microsoft. Trying to play with Start 11 settings only made things worse.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. There is Start11 V1.4.0.2 just released. Please update to that version and retest your issue. Report back here. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Having installed and tested, the latest Beta does not resolve the issue of the size of the taskbar not changing to small after installing moments 2.  It remains at 'Medium' (or Microsoft's default Taskbar size), despite changing the size in Start11 and restarting Windows Explorer.

This is normal.

As it says in the config UI now, you can only have small or large if you enable enhanced taskbar mode.

Also be aware autohide taskbars will be fixed at medium regardless of other choices.

Apologies you are correct and yes, it does now make the taskbar small. 👍

The start button will remain sized medium though I am afraid.  Microsoft changes...

Following with interest.  My Start 11 was only updated a day ago to 1.39.1.  The problem persists.  And something weird happened.   The task bar moved to the top of the screen of its own accord.   If  can't get a useful small task bar then StarDock will become a software overhead that will serves no useful purpose (aside from my investment in the product).

You'll need to install the Beta if you've recently installed Microsoft's WIndows 11 Moments 2 update.

Thanks PM-1.  Installed Beta.  Seems to work, but the task bar banner height was just like medium with a medium sized Windows Start Icon.  Interestingly I was able to drag the task bar height down manually.  Looking good now.

Thx for the link to latest Beta. Legend. Only issue Im having is I had to turn off Autohide to keep the small Taskbar. The other issue that the Globe is having is a lack of Creative Designers at Microsoft. Boooo MS, Booooooooo.
