Start11 No Systray or Clock

Updated Win11 to KB5022913 and Start11 to 1.4 beta (due to herein described issue).

System tray and clock disappeared.

Also, the left side of the bar is a different color than the rest.

Problem existed with (presumably stable) Start11 1.39. Installed 1.4 beta to see if the problem was fixed. It wasn't.

Restarting Explorer does nothing. Restarting the computer does nothing.

Any solutions?

I'm experiencing the same problem for the most part. I'm using Start11 version 1.39.1 on Windows 11 Pro, Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1344). It's running on a Ryzen 7 3800X CPU with 64 GB of RAM with a Radeon RX 6600 graphics card. Today I received a Cumulative Update from Microsoft (KB5022913). I had been using TaskBar X to customize my Taskbar, but apparently the current version from the Microsoft Store is not compatible with this latest Cumulative Update. I had set my Taskbar to fully transparent, and until today that was working. After the Cumulative Update, however, it was opaque and TaskBar X appeared not to be working. I've uninstalled TaskBar X and begun using Start11 to manage the Taskbar. So far, the transparency is working, as well as the custom Windows icon. However, I have no visible System Tray or Clock. I can click on where they should be and the controls respond as they normally would. So, it appears that visibility is the only real problem.

We have a beta update coming tomorrow which should have support for that update.

I too lost the system tray, etc.☹️

I uninstalled the February 28, 2023—KB5022913 (OS Build 22621.1344) Preview Update but left Start11 beta 1.4 installed.

Rebooted and my system tray, etc. came back.

I'll reinstall the Windows 11 update when tomorrow's beta is available. 🤞

Beta update has not repaired it. As before, all system tray icons are missing, but mousing over the are will bring up the text of the icons that should be visible.
Latest Beta, and Latest Windows 11.

Updated to 1.4. Sorted.
Thank you, Devs. It was not the end of the world, but it detracted from its usefulness. Not a problem anymore though.
