i made a comment and a request

Yes, you made a comment that to me makes no sense and a request that it's near impossible. You requested to remove the caps on downloads which will allowed you and the rest of people that just want things for free to keep leeching off the site, yet you expect 'US' the people that contribute financially and with our work to maintain this site to just pat you on the back and say "Yeah, that’s a good idea"

If you actually need a 'person' to convince you to buy something, then your issues are worst than I thought. The trail version of the software you have and the amount of work displayed here (for free) should have convinced you a long time ago.
Now, we are not "attacking" you for voicing your self but rather the arrogant way you have expose your point and yet after it was explain how and why things are done the way they are, you still want to rant about 'unfairness'

And unfortunately for you, apocalypse, when you said if i need someone to convince me to buy something my issues are worse then you thought.. well see thats how the world works. No matter what you think you bought on your own free will, you were convinced by someone, whether it be a nice salesman, a good showing of a product, or an opinion. Rather everyone here flamed me. I think its just kind of ridiculous. As for the site showing off the goods, yes it does have some convincing aspects.. but not enough being that there are a lot of trashy skins. There are a few gems as well.. but most of those gems could be found elsewhere. I did like wincustomizes' system.. but honestly this community sucks if they cant even attmept to modestly help someone.

As for my comment making no sense, this site used to have no cap, so a running cap rather then a solid state cap still makes sense.. when i posted that message initially i was confused as i never had even thought about a cap .. i thought this site was freeware unless you wanted extra content such as special packages and download managers. So my comment does make sense relating to my knowledge of the sites workings at that time.

And yes, you all did attack me, feel free to read through the comments. "leave we wont miss you" "rectial ocular disorder" etc right, great community.

And finally, it really sucks to find out a site you have visited for quite a while has so many pricks who will jump all over you for anything you say. Maybe this is a reason why this site is in need of so much help? Just a word of advice people, chill out.. and try to be slightly civil because if this is how you treat every newbie who finds himself capped and questions why... well you wont get too many new members. I guess thats all im going to say, reply if you want, but im done with this.

Yes, it is true that at one time the site didn’t nor had the need of capping downloads, but as the site grew and became a little expensive to maintain this method was acquire. Now, as a person with sense, if you was to give out things for free counting on just a few items to just a few people it would not harm you, not until those few items become a lot of items and those few people become a couple of hundred thousand, then you will stop the free stuff and find the need to compensate your work and effort. Well same thing happens with websites.
The arrogance which I referred to is the fact that nothing in life is free and the people that put up this site doesn’t pick up money from the side walks, someone down the line has to help pay for the site, but yet, you seem to not understand this or rather just choose to ride on the party wagon uncharged.
The statement about waiting for someone to convince you of buying a subscription or a SD product is not even an issue in your case, maybe if you was indeed a new user without any knowledge of the site nor SD products, it would be understandable, but claiming that you've been in this site longer than most of us and that you indeed have downloaded and are currently using trial software, I don’t see why would you need any convincing from anyone here.
You also stated that "this community sucks if they cant even attempt to modestly help someone" but yet you have not made the attempt to ask for help but rather just vent out your concern that you cannot download anymore because you reached your download limit and you suggested the cap be removed or reset every month, in other words the people that help maintain this site will pay so you can have periodically access to downloads. Talk about a free ride, right?
And as far as I recall, YOU was the one that made the comment about people getting fed up with the download limit and how it will make them leave and go to another site, no one asked you to leave and no one is making you stay here, they just contemplated your suggestion.
The choices are really simple;
-You like the products? -Buy them
-You like the site? - Support it.
-You have any concern or suggestion about the system? - Contact the site's admins or managers.
-You don’t like how the system is setup? - You are free to move on.

The people who pay for ad3x's access to this site would like ad3x to reciprocate.

Refusal to do so is not an option, but walking is.

Tolerance is a limit soon passed.

Listening to ad3x is like trying to solve a Zen riddle. He makes me think of this old boy we knew in Kentucky that was always complaining about the car his daddy gave him. He hated that car because it just wouldn't run right.

So we offered to fix it for him.

Nope. Didn't want it fixed. And why not?

Because if we fixed it, he might like it, and he wanted to get rid of it.

And why did he want to get rid of it?

Because it needed to be fixed.
