Space Bar Loses Typing Function, but Temporarily Hides Fence Shortcuts on Desktop Instead

Hi all,

 

It seems with Fences 4.0.7.2 I am having an issues where sometimes I lose the function of the space bar on my keyboard. When using Chrome or Edge etc. randomly my space key won't work, and it seems Fences hijacks it completely.

 

Pressing space temporarily hides desktop shortcuts through Fences and that's it. Holding the key down keeps them hidden and releasing it brings it back.

 

This happens twice a day now, where Fences takes full control of my space bar.

 

Funny enough, killing Start11 using the Task Manager fixes the issue, which makes me think it's a glitch that presents when the two programs work together.

 

Curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know if there is specific steps you can do take make this issue happen? Also I wonder if you have setup your hotkeys for fences involve space bar?

Hi,

I don't have any specific steps to replicate the issue, it just occurs randomly throughout the day. 

My hotkey setup is the default from installation:

I'll turn this option off and see if the issue still continues.

Would like to suggest try different working keyboard and see if it happen again. Sometimes intermittent faulty keyboard could cause some issue.
