Where are Grayelks walls

I dunno..but I think he might have gotten pissed off about a few nasty e-mails he recieved about his work not really being his

Well, this is simply awful, I was looking forward to more of Grayelks work, I think he or she (sorry), was about to show us something really special.

They were removed after Grayelk called me and requested that they be removed.

I am very saddened by this. He is a Native American Indian who is disabled.  He has also been in the armed forces defending our country.  One of his works hangs in the Smithsonian. He works with the different tribes trying to introduce this stuff to the kids and get them interested in computers. He doesn't use his real name on here because he didn't want to be that public.

All it took was one jerk emailing him to make him remove his stuff.  His uploads were all his, but he didn't want to deal with the hassle.  It was too much to deal with.  I can understand his point.  If I was being emailed threats from a so-called "attorney" saying that they were going to investigate your copyright infringement, I'd pull my stuff, too.  Luckily, Grayelk has an attorney, so if the world is a just place, maybe they can get this guy for harassment.

I would really hate for us to have to make all email addresses private.  But if this continues, we may have no choice.  It really ticks me off that somebody would do this.  We will call this jerk a "visitor" now

This is a very sad thing indeed, because of one idiot, we all suffer.

Hope Grayelk decides to return soon, he sounds like a someone we all could learn from.

Thanks KarmaGirl for the update. Its a shame that people are quick to accuse without getting all the facts. All one had to do is email an admin with their concerns and this wouldn't have happened. Now I wished I'd have gotten his email address the other day but was busy and figured I could get it later.Next time I'll make the time to do what I was going to do.

Hopefully someone there can entice him back, after this has been sorted out?
Perhaps they have only been "temporarily" removed (by Grayelk) till it is. Certainly hope so.
Perhaps Grayelk is following this thread, and will see the wonderful support he has.

The hardest thing about art, is that the possibilities of having someone you have never known, whos work you have never seen, in a country half way around the world, could very well come up with a similar work and you wouldn't even know it....

Russ's Robotic Scorpian for instance. I have a Design Graphics Magazine where this person won awards with such a critter with some changes to it that is not the same work. But very similar at the same time. So much so I was going to email Russ and let him know to check it out. But after looking at them I find that the only real connection between them is the vision and idea, the presentation is totally different even though both are 3D renderings and Robotic Scrop's...

I honestly do hope that GeryElk nails this person down and get's this straightened out because he is a fantastic artist and his desire to share his art is something I think should never be stopped because of someone else. That should only be his choice from the heart as is the choice to share...

and it roasts my euw-euw's that someone would go about doing this in the first place...

I hope greyelk comes back. he emailed me not to long ago and i replied that i was looking forward to his work.

I have also emailed Grayelk to let him know about this thread.  Maybe he can "feel the love"

I hope he comes back.Why split over one lousy email?Its not like the jerk could do anything to him ,with or without a lawyer.Should have just let the guy waste his time and his money,that would teach him.

This is pretty sad...I had conversed with Thomas via email for several days a while back trying to help him get his work done in digital format to upload.

He apparently has several of his Oil Paintings on display in a museum in Washington State. I never doubted for a second that this man wasn't who he claimed.

It's a real shame when a comment or two can drive someone away, the author just needs to be aware that they are a very small monority.

I'm sure it's the person in the 'Other' thread asking who "Grayelk" is that has been harassing him. I hope he get's things worked out.

I hope Grayelk comes back. His art work is so unique and refreshing. Great talent much missed
