Keyboard shortcut to close a tab not working for Outlook and some other applications

Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl W) to close a groupy tab works only in a select few applications (Excel, Word, Notepad++, etc.) but it's not working in Outlook and other 3rd party software apps. Can Stardock look into this issue and fix it? Thanks.
