"Windows button search" only looking for installed app

When i press the "Win" icon on Start11 I'm able to search for an installed App and for link to an app created on the desktop but this kind of search doesn't works for Executables that aren't installed .

Is this a feature or a bug?
Thanks an advance

I have a tools named "netscan.exe" that is located in a folder with this path c:\utility and i have created a shortcut to desktop.

If i do a search Start11 find the original ZIP folder, the desktop link but not the executables located in the Utility's folder

and no, i haven't tried the 1.27 beta: where can i download it ?

Thanks for the support

Hi, i don't think it's about a "bad" index because the folder "Utility" is not included in index's directory.
But now i have a question:
The Start11's search looking for a file in ALL drive or only in index's directory ?
Because the "Powertoys Run" can find my executables regardless of where they are.
Thanks again
