Double Clicking a document crashes Fences 4

When inside a Folder Portal

Windows 11 build 22622.601
Fences 4.0.7.2

When double-clicking a document within a Folder Portal, Fences tries to open the document inside that folder portal and the appropriate app.  With the document being opened within the Folder Portal, since Fences itself doesn't handle the document, it forces Explorer to crash.  The only way to properly recover is by restoring a snapshot prior to re-enabling Fences.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First off, you're running Windows 11 insider preview version, which is not officially supported. But just to clarify, need more information. The crash happened on any documents? ie Words? Excels? PDF? And if you disable "Allow Navigation" within that portal does the crash stop?

Thanks

Happens on any document:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF.

Disabling the Navigation solves the issue for now.

Thanks,

If it happened again, please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
