Fences Are Not Scaling

I have been using fences for a long time.  I received a new PC and installed Fences. For some reason now my fences do not scale when I change my setup.  I use my laptop stand alone when traveling and have dual monitors both at home and in the office.  When I change setups they never scale.  I tried both options: Preserve my desktop by scaling my fences and Store my fences positions on a per screen resolution basis and neither option has worked. I'm on Windows 10 Enterprise and running the latest version of Fences (4.0.7.2).

Any ideas on how to fix this? It worked just fine on my previous PC which also running Windows 10.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. More details please.

  1. You on Windows 10 version? Use Winver.exe to get those.
  2. You on Fences version?
  3. When you said "Change setup" what do you actually mean?
  4. Those two system might not have same setting between them. Resolutions, Windows Scale setting etc. You might need to manually set fences layout etc for each setting and save layout snapshot for each of them. And load the saved layout snapshot accordingly.

Thanks

1. Windows 10 Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1889)

2. Fences 4.0.7.2 (which was mentioned in my original post)

3. I mean when I move from a docking station setup with 3 monitors (2 + laptop) to just my laptop or vice versa.

4.They are different resolutions. Previously when I set my fences to scale they would without issue (example when I would unplug from the docking station and just use the laptop the fences would change) so I'm not sure why now I would need to take snapshots and use those. Seems to defeat the purpose of scaling.
