Taskbar Pinning

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try uninstall, reboot (important), reinstall latest version, reboot again. Retest it and report back.
Thanks

I have two different computers with Start11 installed and I have the same problem on both. Are you telling me that this alleged glitch coincidentally happened on both computers? Before I go through the pain of following your instructions on both computers, can you please confirm that Start11 actually allows pinning Windows Explorer to the taskbar?
Actually, from what I remember. I always have Explorer pinned to my taskbar. And I just check. I can unpinned Explorer from taskbar and repined it again.

Ok. Thank you for the confirmation. I will give the uninstall actions a shot.
I have completed the uninstall and re-install and I'm still not able to pin File Explorer to my task bar. I wonder if there is a setting I'm missing?
There might be something else is blocking Start11 from working properly. Do you have any other application that also deal with Start panel and taskbar? If you do please remove it. Also, try cleanboot : https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#cleanboot

That did not fix the issue. As you can see in the screenshot, there is no option to pin to the taskbar.

I can confirm that I am also unable to pin the File Explorer to the taskbar, but I'm also running Windows 11 Pro Developer's edition 22H2 build 25182.1000.
As a workaround you can pin File Explorer to the taskbar from the Windows 11 Start menu.
I don't pin to taskbar the way you do it. I don't even think that is possible. What you can do is open Windows explorer. When that is done, go to your taskbar and right click on the taskbar button, select pin to taskbar, refer screenshot below. Unless Windows change again in that area and somehow remove "pin to taskbar" from there too.

Holy s**t. That worked. I've never done it that way. W7 and W10 both allowed you to select "Pin to Taskbar" from the Start menu.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Awesome, glad to help.
