You probably should email T-man, the site Admin/Wizard, about the problem and the messages you see. He sometimes cruises the messageboard, but not always. So email would be best. His email can be found on the "about" WC page here, just click on his name: https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=about

Try removing the single quote from the file name.

Invalid file name due to non standard characters.

I think he means the 's' causing the syntax error...

Can you be a little more specific? I haven't had these problems in the past...I make my wallpaper, and name it, and zip it up. I make a lower res file and name it pre... a jpeg. Then I upload... that used to work.

Are you getting the exact same error message as ImpuLsE?

Files and images MUST be alpha-numeric, with NO odd text characters.

You have 26 letters and 10 numbers to choose from.....that should suffice...

the files I am trying to upload are rain.zip and pre.jpeg

the last few times Ive tried to upload I get disconnected from my server at the end of the upload. Several times I got disconnected from the wincustomize server at the very end??

Is that actually 'pre.jpeg'?

Try 'pre.jpg'....[without quotes of course]...

Ah, I got through thanks. I think the problem wasn't in the file names per se, but in the title, the name I gave to the wallpaper... had "cat's" in there. I guess that was the problem. thanks again

'cat's' would definitely be the problem.....an apostrope is neither alpha, nor numeric, hence the failure...

Doesn't matter what you name the previews, as long as each one has a unique name.
