hmmz.. NEED HELP [im a newbie]

hmmz.. how come i can download anything from this site but i cant seem to use any of them? whenever i download something.. in that folder there is only .jpg .bmp files. so how am i suppose to use them? (im using windows 98) is it because this site is only for windows XP users?

Will for Windows 98 users there is not much free here that will skin anything.

You can also go to Download.com and search for WindowBlinds, ObjectBar and other stuff.

SysMetrix is free
WinAMP also... but its not Stardock programs.


Oh and since I run a Win98 systems you might want to try to see if it will run well. Depending on your system ram, CPU and memory you might or might not be able to run the programs.

Okay, here goes. The Object Dock Program is free. The Logon Studio Program is free. Wallpapers are free. Window Media Player Skins are free. The rest isn't free. And, I think there is a limit to how much content you can download for free. You can try the shareware versions of Windowblinds and probably the other programs to see if you really like them. I will tell you, they are awesome. Much better than Aston or NextStart, if you ask me. And Object Desktop is safer for your system because it uses windows GUI and doesn't change it, just skins it.

Actually everything here is free. Every single program that has a skin section is offered here for free by Stardock, full version, as their gift to thank you for stopping by. Unlimited downloads of all the skins here are free as well. Wincustomize offers this because they are really nice people.
They will also send you a CD of the entire Object Desktop package. They are so glad to do that, that they offer to pay YOU to take it. That's right, they put a $5 bill in the package.
This is a really great place isn't it. Don't know what I would do without Stardock.
