Occasionally the whole taskbar on my secondary monitor will become completely unresponsive.  Left side of two monitors.  I  have to restart Explorer to regain control.  Doesn't happen often, but just happened again.

MS Office365 icons are (still) shown wrong. 1.2 displayed some placeholder icon instead of the correct ones. 1.21 beta displays squares in different shades of grey. See this thread for more details.

Start11 would require some similar tools that it have ExplorerPatcher for work with taskbar with style of Windows 10, under Windows 11. It would be much appreciate. Regards.

I wish I would have known that this would not support insider releases should have read the fine print before I bought it. It is making my system very unstable I'm going to uninstall it for now and check back in a couple of months.

No sane company will provide official support for insider builds of Windows.  They are very likely to have bugs and be unreliable.

With regards to your issue, we are not aware of any issues that should result in instability.  Some features do not work on the insider builds but crashing should not be happening.

That said you should be aware the recent insider builds are rather unstable on their own.

Start 11 is working just fine for me on the dev/beta build. The only thing I can't do is add transparency to the taskbar or have auto hide enabled.

Not a huge deal to me considering 22H2 is still being built and MS may still play around with their taskbar.

Do you plan to add "aero peek" function back (desktop preview while over mouse over show desktop button ate the end of the taskbar)?? It would be really amazing ðŸĪŠðŸ˜ðŸ‘!

When taskbar is set to Small Icons and you expand the taskbar to Double height, Tray icons either disappear or the second screenshot, icons are missing and do not show up in the expanded menu either.  This is an issue in the beta and production version.

Windows 11 Pro 21H2 Build 22000.613 / Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0

3 monitor system, taskbar managed by Start11 v1.2.1

Issues:

1. Taskbar context menu shows "Lock all taskbars" greyed out, so no way to change it, so no resizing possible

2. Icon of widget weather is moved out of taskbar with small icons setting (4th icon)

3. From time to time, taskbar is moved to the right so icons are at centered position, jumps back to left after start menu opened

4. If taskbar is not managed by Start11 and small icons is set, there is an invisible layer above the tray area preventing any mouse action on elements behind it / visually directly above tray area

Other than that, I really like it, good work!

And a feature request: Please add a toggle to enable "close window on middle click" to replace the standard new instance action when middle clicking on a taskbar button.

Thanks:beer:

It looks like you are using an autohide taskbar.  These cannot be more than one row tall.

The weather widget icon being bigger is an unfortunate side effect of a smaller taskbar in later builds of Windows 11.  This stops being a problem in dev/beta builds of Windows 11 as all the icons remain large but aligned correctly.
