will I lose Fences 3 licence if I upgrade to Fences 4?

Sometimes in order to gain an upgrade via promotional pricing you end up converting/losing the licence for your previous purchase.

Is that the case when using the discount to upgrade from Fences 3 to Fences 4?

I'd prefer not to lose access to Fences 3 in the process of upgrading to Fences 4 and if necessary I would purchase an un-discounted Fences 4 to avoid losing it.

How should I proceed?
