What is the..[ ecdc6_2_ico.zip ] for.?

Most of the times i download an icon for Objectbar wich is great application,i find the regular PNG extencion files, and the ICO. extencions files as well.
What are those for? they only add an extra icon..is it needed?

I'm thinking it's:
1. For people that don't have IP and still want to use the icons.
2. A lot of stuff still doesn’t recognize a PNG extension.

You're sure you've seen those in the ObjectBAR section, not in the ObjectDOCK section?
There are many individual icons in the ObjectDock section indeed, so people can customize their dock with their own programs.
