start11 icons disappeared, fences 4 "explorer closed ..."

Fences 4 disabled while I was doing some settings on Start11. Fences 4 "explorer closed... and Fences disabled. Please enable" then Start11 icons disappeared. I payed for Start11 and also would like to purchase Fences 4 but It seams that it will be an annoying life if I will keep these two apps. It is like Fences does not like Start11 somehow. They seems that these two siblings dont go well together.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Actually, Start11 and Fences 4 work properly together. Only thing I can think off is that Fences 4 causing issue with Explorer.exe that lead your issue with Start11. From my experience with Fences 4, there has been reports that Fences 4 will make Explorer crashes if there is something goes wrong with Portal fences.This issue is currently been look into by Support and Dev team.

If you uninstall Fences 4, does Start11 icons return?

Hy. I think if Fences is uninstalled than Start11 works well. For now I just disabled start11 and only use Fences 4. No issues yet, if start11 is not enabled no issues.

Also I realized that after uninstalling start11 at one point it happened that the W11 taskbar stuck in the previous start11 size and also the time and date was misaligned (seemed that falls out of the windows). I had to reinstall start11 to correct the misalignment.

I Started my computer and the explorer - fences error message appeared and all my Icons are scrambled. This happened at the start Without start11 being enabled.

Update. Unpluged the PD from laptop the monitor went black then came back. I have a laptop and to it connected a monitor. Fences did again the thing. Plugged and unplugged the laptop has two different power managament state. This is annoying. I had Fences 3 and did not do this.

Uninstalled start11 and this happened. Icons misaligned. I will have to reinstall it then get it back to the usual normal taskbar to realign the icons. Stardock should have more programming power to avoid these kind of issues especially before releasing programs to the mass especially if it costs. For now I reinstalled fences3 and will see if the explorer issue will come back or not. Then if it will not get resolved possibly I will get a refund ticket. Also it is interesting that on a AMD R9 with dGPU 3050 ti still fences stutters a bit while it is being dragged. Definitely much slower when dragged compared to a normal window while it is being dragged. These things ruin a lot of the experience.  

update Fences 3 installed and enabled no issues with explorer. Reinstalled start11 and explorer message started again.
