Portal always opens in Explorer..

does not Navigate within Folder Portal Fence..

This just started happening today.  I have Folder Portals on my desktop.  A double-click on a subfolder icon would open that folder in the current fence, but it doesn't work anymore.  It always opens a Windows Explorer window to the subfolder.  I have turned off 'Allow Navigation' for the Fences and turned it back on and it doesn't make any difference.

However, if I right-click on the subfolder icon, and select 'Open', it opens the subfolder within the current Fence just fine!!??  As it should..

I have rebooted several times, and uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and it still does the same thing.

I have Fences v3.1.3.3 from Steam.  Any help is appreciated.  :annoyed:

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Try restoring from a Snapshot and see if that works .

Thanks, I did restore several backups even back into December, but it made no difference.

Right click on the fence and check "Allow navigation". The screenshot is from Fences 4, but I think it's the same in Fences 3. If that is not the case, you should try to reinstall Fences.

Thanks for the reply Jan.  I have already done both of your suggestions and they did not help.  But I got it fixed today when I booted up..

I have Directory Opus 11 and I've read that it can cause this issue.  I went through all of it's Folder settings and tried changing some things, but nothing helped.  So I decided to disable DOpus from starting with Windows so I could see if it actually was the culprit.  Today when I booted up I forgot that I had done that, and I clicked on DOpus before I tested it.  But it's working again..  I can navigate within a Fence as normal now, even with DOpus running.  It's only been an hour or so, but I'm hoping it's fixed.
