Start 11 blocking space at the bottom of the screen

Can't see any issues raised about this, so thought that I'd ask if anyone else has seen this.

I find that, when Start 11 is running, there is often a horizontal strip down at the bottom of the screen that does not respond to mouse clicks.  For example, in my email client (emClient), the Email, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks buttons are down at the bottom on the left and often, they do not respond to mouse clicks.  The taskbar works fine, but not other apps.  Once I disable Start 11, they all work fine again.

For the moment, I have had to disable Start 11 permanently.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It would help if you could post a video of your issue so we can understand it better.

Thanks

Not sure if a video will show much - it will just show my mouse cursor moving between buttons and not doing anything.

The buttons on my email client sitting just above the taskbar look like this:

Basically, when Start 11 is running, I will move my mouse over them and try and click one of them (e.g. Calendar) and nothing happens.  It seems that Start 11 seems to have some kind of (invisible) overlay on top of them that prevents me clicking on them.  If I completely disable Start 11, those buttons work fine again.

Hope that makes sense

What email client application you're using? Will try to recreate the issue on my system.

Thank you,

I have installed and tested EMClient, and I can click on those button without issue. Screenshot below. Mouse hover Calendar (Highlighted) captured. When I click on it, EMClient switch to Calendar mode.

Yes, sometimes it is OK, but sometimes it does now work and is 'blocked'.  I cannot yet identify when it works and when it doesn't as it seems random.  But having lived with this for a number of weeks, I can definitely tell you that it does tend to stop working.  The only thing that seems to fix it permanently is to disable Start 11.

Sorry - cannot tell you why this is happening, but I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Start 11 countless times and it still starts happening again randomly.
