October Desktops

Using:
DesktopX (www.desktopx.net) for the pumpkins, meters, calendar, ghosts, and the spiffier icon size/shadow.

IconPackager package of icons from Pixtudio (www.iconzone.com)

WindowBlinds "Trick or Treat" from Pixtudio. I modified this myself to get more useful colors.

CursorXP "Halloween Cursors" so that my cursor is a candy corn. It's pretty cool. I also modified it in CursorXP to be a bit larger than default.

One question....how do I take a screenshot of my desktop? Heh, i'm a newbie.

First, you take the actual screenshot. You do this by hitting the print screen button up at the top of your keyboard, by F12. You then go into your image editor and hit "Paste". The image will show up. Then, save the file as a jpeg. Now, here on WinCustomize, go into "Edit Account". There you should find a button marked "Upload or Edit your Desktop Image". Go into there and upload your image and choose a title for it. Now, go into your profile by going into "Edit Account" again and hitting the "View My Profile" button. Click on your desktop image to get the large size. Now, right click on it and hit properties. Then farther down in the properties box you will see the url of the image. Copy that entire adress by selecting it and hitting ctrl-C. Now, go to this thread and hit the "Insert Image" button under the smilies. Past the adress into the box by hitting ctrl-V, and then hit Ok. Now you can put your test in before or after the image and then hit Submit. Thats it your done!

Here's my new desktop, I suddenly got the urge and motivation from somewhere to make this one.

Desktop icons are from the Snow icon package
Object dock icons are by myself and Jairo
Wallpaper was rendered in 3dstudio max and edited in photoshop. I did not make the models of the pieces or the board, they were downloaded from here http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/toy_pics.asp much thanks to the "ORIGINAL" author "Renzo Del Fabbro" for "his" great work.

Same as last month with some modif-ker-tinker-ations (found the font, and have some throbbing mouse overs, not that you can see them)
