Blurred background image and stuttering

Acer Predator 17 X GX-792-73D3 - Intel Core i7-7820HK - 48GB RAM - NVIVIA G-Force 4GB GTX 1080 Graphics

I have just installed version 11 and started off with the rotating Earth day and night and was immediately disappointed. The background image is poor quality as in slightly blurred, and when spinning, the earth stutters.

I switched to Jardins garden waterfall with the same result, poor quality image and stuttering waterfall. I would have thought my pc was capable of running deskscapes without issue.

Any advice on settings?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Go to DS11 settings ( see image below ) and try each of the 3 settings shown

Reboot after each settings change , see if one is better than the other ..

and report back here please.

I think the VMR9 delivers a slightly better result.
