ObjectDock deficiency in shortcut commands and customized icons

deficiency in shortcut commands and customized icons

  1. In ObjectDock there is a deficiency in the creation of shortcuts.  They won't accept optional arguments.  For example, a shortcut for Firefox private browsing needs the command
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private
However, ObjectDock won't allow the inclusion of the -private option.
  2. In ObjectDock there is a deficiency in selecting customized icons.  When you open a dialog box to find a file with an icon, it only displays *.png, *.ico, and *.exe.  However, it should also include *.dll.  For example, if you want a shortcut to the Windows Control Panel that displays the standard icon, you need to get the icon from the file
    %systemroot%\system32\shell32.dll
