Cannot enable fences on Windows 10

After the activation I get this message (see image below). If I try to enable fences I always get the same error.

I also tried to restart the PC, but still does not work.

Thank you

Please try a purge and reinstall here.

If you still have an issue, please list your Fences and Windows versions.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.
  2. Fences version.
  3. Is this a corperate system? Do you have Websence or Forcepoint running in the background?

Hello,

the windows version is Windows 10 Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.867)

Fences is the latest version (buy and download this morning) Version 3.0.9.11.

There were reports on Forcepoint is blocking Fences from working correctly. Try to whitelist Fences from Forcepoint and also refer to this thread, there is something there that might help your situation. https://forums.stardock.com/502301

Hello Basj,

I have checked but I am afraid is not possibile for me change any setting of Forcepoint Endpoint Protection, because it is managed by the Admin...

Any other suggestion? Any logfile I could send you to better investigate the problem?

Thank you very much

End of gcichellero's quote

There is no know workaround and our efforts to contact the company that makes it has failed numerous times.

Unlikely, but if you have access to the particular Windows security features (no doubt) FP is managing, this thread may help
