Icons not displaying correctly

So I just purchased Fences on steam and I'm noticing that for a variety of my shortcut icons, they are not displaying the correct icon that they were on my "normal" desktop. Like instead of displaying the icon they are supposed to and are correctly linked to, they display the standard windows "white page" icon like it cannot find that icon to display or something.

The programs that are affected seem to be completely random, for example I have my Substance Designer 5 icon not working yet the Substance Painter 2 icon right next to it renders out just fine and shows the correct red S icon it should be. Then simple things like HWiNFO64 don't display right either. Neither does EVGA Precision X1, or Daemon Tools. Don't get what the problem is. Firefox, Chrome, Discord, Steam, War Thunder, Photoshop, Maya... all those work fine...

Others are shortcuts that are inside the same folder as the icon they should be displaying and those type don't display correctly either. Is there some way to fix this or is it just random I don't understand HELP!!!

Did everything you said to in the post. It did fix the issue for the ones that weren't displaying correctly that I had mentioned in the previous post, however now there are other ones that WERE working before that now are not displaying correctly.
