DeskScapes and Microsoft Word

When DeskScapes is running, Mircrosoft Word flickers constantly.  If I pause Deskscapes, then Word doesn't flicker.  Any advise, other than pausing DeskScapes?

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Tested and I get No Flicker running Word and DS10.

What version of Windows are you running ( full numbered version )

Version of Deskscapes ?

I am running Deskscapes version 10.03. Windows 10 Home version 20H2.  The flickering occurs on my Surface Pro 7, my HP pavilion laptop, and a friends Compac Presario laptop.

Oddly, screen recorder does not show the flicker, although it did happen while recording.  However, this is becoming more of a problem Thai I thought it would.  I will simply uninstall Deskscapes, as Word is an essential part of my work.  Thank you for your time.

I too am experiencing a flicker where the DeskScapes animated background can momentarily be seen "through" another application.

This includes Word, Outlook, and Excel.

If I pause the DeskScapes animation, the flicker stops. Restart the animation and the flicker returns.

I have tried three different video drivers and the problem persists.

I have not seen the problem with Autodesk products or internet browsers, primarily Microsoft applications.

Edition Windows 10 Pro

Version 21H2

Installed on 4/5/2021

OS build 19044.1826

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

Video Card/Driver NVIDIA Quadro P4000, 512.96

I am running Deskscapes 11 ver. 10.96 on Windows 10 Pro 22H2 build 19045.1865 and don't see this issue with any of the Office 365 apps. I have been running Deskscapes 11 since March of 2022 without any issues. I also use Excel, Word, and Outlook extensively for work.

The only difference is the video card. I'm running the EVGA 1080Ti with Nvidia driver ver. 516.93.

I forgot to specify we are using Office 2016 here.

Deskscapes is Version 11 Beta 5.

I have changed my DS settings to match yours. I will report if the problem persists.

Office 2016 is basically the same as Office 365 and shouldn't be a factor.
