Explorer is slow when starting fances3.

 

Pressing F5 in Explorer during startup takes a while to refresh the icon.

When Fances is disabled, it is refreshed immediately.

 

Fances influence? Does this mean anything to you?

 

Occurred since yesterday, I reinstalled Docker for Desktop.

However, the problem still occurs even when I close Docker.

 

OS: Windows 10 Pro

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I can't reproduce the issue on my system. My explorer refresh just as as fast or as slow with or without Fences enable. Usually very fast with little files/folder to display. A little lag if there are lots of thumbnails to display. But both, enable or disable, more or less the same to me.

But, if you mean upon startup, desktop icons show-up a lot slower. That is known, and it is because Windows 10 delay 3rd party software startup, as mentioned here : https://www.howtogeek.com/403162/how-to-disable-the-windows-10-startup-delay/
