shortcuts for files on desktop appearing at the bottom of All Programs list

i have windows 10 pro 64bit, with the latest version of start10, but for some reason, when i create a file/folder on my desktop, start 10 is adding an icon for it at the bottom of my All Programs list. meaning it's not showing up as a recently opened appllication (that is disabled). i create the file/folder on the desktop, and an icon then appears at the bottom of my All Programs list. if i delete the icon from the start menu, it also deletes it from my desktop. ive already gone through all the configuration options, and compaired them with the computer that the issue is not happening on, and all the configuration options are exactly the same

 

i also have another computer, same version of windows, start10 etc, but it does not happen on that..

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
