ObjectDock Plus?

purchased "objectdock" and "objectdock plus" earlier this year but i had to reinstall because it was acting up (not launching at startup) - so i downloaded objectdock again, reinstalled it over my existing install, which seemed to fix the launching prob, but now i have two docks, one that can be edited (objectdock) and one that can't (objectdock plus), very weird.

so how can i download plus again? i don't see it anywhere? thanks

again, as i previously mentioned, my "plus" purchase no longer appears in my download history, only my objectdock purchase, how can i download plus again?

Hello,

From what I know, if a new version was released it will replaced the older version. And the older version will not be available for download anymore.

wait, so i paid $20+ for "plus" in order to have the ability to launch multiple objectdocks and now it's not longer available for download?

Actually the paid versions of ObjectDock is a plus version which users can have more than one docks including tabs docks.

ok, i see what was happening....

my objectdock plus installation stopped loading on startup after i did a windows in-place upgrade (repair) so i was testing out ways to fix it per suggestions i found in the forum, including renaming the objectdock link in the startup folder(s)....

this sort of worked in that objectdock loaded on startup, and both of my docks displayed, but when i went into settings i could only control (change settings) for one of the docks, there was no way to change settings for the other dock... and when i clicked the settings link you show in your jpeg i got the message that it was a premium feature that i would have to buy to use.

so what was happening was a regular version of objectdock (no plus) was loading on startup instead of my plus version - what's wered is that the regular version loaded both docks but only let  me edit one.

if i create a link on the taskbar and click it everything works fine, objectdock plus loads and the settings link you show in your jpeg works as well, i don't get the "buy" message.

so........how do i get objectdock plus to load on startup? there are shortcuts in the following startup folders:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Stardock\ObjectDock

C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Stardock ObjectDock.lnk

and both shortcuts reference the same thing:

target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\ObjectDock.exe"

start in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock"

is there a registry edit i can make? an ini file edit?

i've tried setting objectdock (settings panel) to load on startup and i've also unchecked this the box, neither works.

i've also tried to reinstall my purchased version of objectdock and that doesn't work either.

any ideas? i don't want to have to settle for just loading objectdock manually from the taskbar whenever i start my pc.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/485816/objectdock-support-faq#reinstalling  Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

will that cause me to lose all of my custom dock settings and links?

went ahead and purged but the bat file wasn't able to uninstall / delete everything so it didn't really work, so i opened the bat file and manually deleted everything listed along with everything else objectdock related i could find... then i reinstalled, added my backed up settings, and all seems to be back to normal, except for the perfect icon spacings i was able to create, wish i remembered how i did it....

Great, glad you get it work. As a friendly reminder. If you are on Windows 10, do know that ObjectDock is not fully compatible with Windows 10.
