Hi all.

I also get the "Window drag slow-mo timewarp effect" but it also happens on other applications that use the acrylic blur with Rainmeter being the main one in my case.

General thoughts elsewhere are that this is a bug in Windows itself. That said, it has been intermittent with other apps, so I might have something clashing in all the tweaks I have set.

Spec: a nothing special i7 w/1060 and latest non-preview Windows 10 (2004?)

Edit: If I disable transparency in Windows 10 Settings, the issue goes away and windows will drag normally. Of course you then lose the system transparency effect which somewhat defeats the point... X|
End of myrbnm's quote

You are right this is an OS level bug.  We have a workaround in Curtains but it seems on some systems thats not always working fully.  We will investigate further.

As you say if disable transparency is set in Windows settings the problem goes away.

STARTMENUE: Where is, or CAN you even set the "recent documents EXPANSION value to ZERO (0) -We do not want our Images to be distorted sideways (either) 8C x_x  ^_^  ^_^

-There should be settings for "Use curtains theme startmenue" ...something

-Guessing this will mean a couple of more settings for the startmenue in Curtains...

Start10 automatically picks up the curtains style unless the setting in Curtains is set not to do so.

The style applies to both the Win7 and Modern styles so the user keeps their layout, they simply get a new visual look applied to it.

With regards to your other question, start menu widths are not controlled by Curtains and you cannot stop the auto expansion.  I would look at margins and layers to see if they can be used to achieve the look you wish.

Curtains does not offer control over those areas.

As the for bottom area, you seem to be running something that removes the ribbon from the OS and I imagine thats responsible for that colour.

Hi Neal,

Is it possible to remove the start menu dividers, and also the user name and picture?

The dividers I think you can supply an image for so could be transparent.

The user picture is a user controlled setting in Start10 itself.

Interesting.

Does it happen with other styles which use explorer transparency?

If not could you send me a PM with your style so I can see if I can reproduce it here please.

AND are we supposed to Uninstall Windowblinds (as both start on StartUp ??)

------------------------------

Update: I Uninstalled Windowblinds as Curtains AND windowblinds on Startup Definitely don't play well together.

There should not be any issues having the two installed together.

However if you have applied a WB skin since last login it may impact how curtains can handle universal apps.

I haven't applied anything after Log in, but what I get is a mix of Curtains and last loaded WB skin... Like WB with transparency LOL, no, jokes aside, they did not play well together.

-Can you please address the User picture etc... I can NOT change that to Hide in Start 10. :\

-What I got so far (digging deep in Advanced areas) -ALL is skinned through Curtains only.

Which bits of WB were applied?

On apply of a Curtains style it disables WB and apply of a WB disables Curtains.

I suspect the issue with Start10 will require an update to Start10 as it may be detecting Curtains as WB and so disabling that option to hide the icon.

Was that with the Beta 2 posted last week (would say Beta 2 on the About tab)?
