( Solved )Update created a non-working groupy

worked fine before - worked for about 1 minute after reboot

As the subtitle says. I did the update, rebooted and opened explorer - I clicked new tab, then closed the new tab and all the tab features disappeared with the closed tab.

Closed explorer, re-opened it, no tabs, reboot again, no tabs, uninstalled removing settings and saved groups, reboot, install again, reboot, no tabs.

This is really bad. I want to download the older version I had so it will work until you've figure out this buggy update. This is not what I would expect from Star-dock who has always been exemplary in making solid, stable applications. This is the behavior or Microsoft and Ubuntu.

Can anyone post a download link for Group 3.4 I believe it was?

Thanks.

Really dumb question possibly, but is Groupy indicating it is enabled in the config?

Also if you drag a window over another to group it and wait for half a second what happens?

What version of Windows ( full version )   Windows 10 Pro 1909 - Build 18363.900

What new version did you try ? I am not 100% sure - I thought it was 3.4, but I just dd the download from my profiles available downloads and it started to download 1.4. I thought I had version 3.3xx but now I am second guessing myself.

I am going to try and install the version I have available for download from my profile 1.4 and see if that works and if there is any updates for it from within the program.

Will post back with versions if different than above.

Once again AzDude.

Thanks!

Hey AzDude.

I reinstalled. The version installed is 1.4. I assume based o this that I had version 1.3. Sorry for the mix up.

The second "naked" install seems to have worked fine. I am going to reboot my PC immediately after posting this - my PC takes a total time to reboot of 26 seconds with login. That being said, if I do not post again within a minute or two, please close this thread as resolved.

Thanks AzDude.

OK AzDude - decided to just login again after reboot to say everything seems fine.

Please close thread as resolved.

Thank You.
