Fences Bug - Fence's window is "painting" with black the desktop background

For some reason, when Fences is installed, randomly the desktop background start to become black, as if the mouse cursor and Fence's screen were a brush in a drawing application.

My system:

Windows 10 Enterprise
Version: 2004
Compilation: 19041.329

Fences: 3.09

I'm using PowerToys V0.190 with FancyZones activated

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

Hello Basj!

I tried again with these steps, now using PowerToys 0.19.2, but the problem persists. I really would like to buy the software, but I'm waiting for a solution for this problem.

Well, I use PowerToys too, I can't recreate your issue. Please try Cleanboot to see if you can identify if there is conflicting application running in the background. https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#cleanboot

Try that and report back.
