Cursor FX

Resizing

I recently purchased the program and uninstalled the free version that I was testing. However, the free version showed a bigger cursor than the one from the licensed version. I have tried resizing (via the Settings option). When sliding the bar under Appearance, the cursor changes in size.  Yet, after choosing Apply, and closing the app, the cursor remains unchanged. In other words, it stays really tiny and hard to detect. Please advise. Also, let me know if you require additional information. Thank you.

Hardware specs: Windows 10, 64-bit; 24GB DDR4; 2TB HDD + 1TB SSD; touchscreen; 8th Gen Intel Quad-Core i7-855OU up to 4.0GHz; 1.8 GHz.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try uninstall CursorFX v4, run the purge for those old version using this steps : https://forums.stardock.com/485856/cursorfx-support-faq#reinstalling

reboot after the purge, it is best to re-download CursorFX v4 from your account. reinstall using that. Reboot again, retest and report back.

Thank you for your response. I have previously tried this approach. Having failed, I posted my question for support. Nevertheless, after receiving your suggestion, I decided to try the steps again. Just to be sure I did not miss anything, I tried the steps (a total of three times).  Each time, I either restarted my device; or shut it down. I also tried changing/using various cursors. Still no go. I really love your software and would very much like to make it work. I certainly hope to resolve this issue. I have already spent many hours trying to get it to work and would hate to scrub it altogether. Again, thank you.

Hello,

Need to know more on your system.

1) Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows 10 version numbers.

2) CursorFX you're using.

3) Monitor/s configuration, resolution, scaling applied, etc etc.

4) Post video or picturess of the issue.

Thank you,

1) Windows version 1803 (OS Build 17134.1184)

2) Cannot find  info on Cursor FX, but just purchased it on 04/10/20 and downloaded the software directly from your site (and downloaded/installed it again today - 04/16/20).

3) Monitor is set at 1920 x 1080; scaling automatically set at 100 - 500 and Text/apps size at 125%. Please that when I changed the size to 150%, the cursor gets larger. However, everything else gets larger, too (texts, browsers, applications, etc.) In this case the overall large size is not easy on the eyes. Unless you have another suggestion, I prefer to leave the setting at 125%.

Thank you.

1) Regarding your suggestion for settings, this is exactly what I have been doing (see my original post/question).

2) Strange that my computer setting shows that everything is up to date. I will try to "force" any updates.

Thank you for all your help. As you suggested, I have been trying to update my Windows to no success. Please close this request/ticket. I will contact you if/when I succeed to upgrade but still encounter problems with Cursor FX.

This is what I get for the text cursor. 4th from left. Happens when I put the cursor in a text field, multiple cursors.

Azenis is one, this is another.
