Need help restoring Fences

I have old snapshots

I did a search in forums but got the same answer over and over again - I don't have a registry key and I do have the correct snapshots in the backup.  I just reinstalled Windows 10 and I have copied over the snapshots in the past but today it won't show up in Fences.. Nowhere does it show what to copy over to my roaming folder - Stardock - backup.

Yup followed all those steps except the registry which I don't have.  Most times I could go to my backup Stardock folder, move my XML & PNG snapshot into the current Roaming - Stardock- backups and it would show up. But not anymore.  Here is my old PNG snapshot.  I guess I will just have to start over.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) You current Windows 10 version. Please use Winver.exe for full version numbers

2) Does all the software from your previous system, installed in the exact same location in your current system?

3) In which part of this guide you can't/fail to follow?

The easiest way to backup and restore Fences settings is via the snapshot system. Simply copy the snapshots from one machine to the other, then restore the snapshot.

Snapshots are stored in the following directories:

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Stardock\Fences\Backups

Vista/7/8/10: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Stardock\Fences\Backups

You will need to replace USERNAME with your user account name on your PC.

Thanks

LOL,  I went into App Data\stardock\fences\backup and deleted ALL my snapshots and then copied over the one I wanted from the past ( with about 10 boxes.  Boom I opened fences app and it was then so I restored it and it showed up fine.  Not sure how & thanks for for ahte help.  Just an fy No I had done a complete new install of Windows 10 latest version and had backed up my App Data Roaming Stardock  Backup only  on a different drive.  Over the years and because it wouldn't come back this time I posted again.  In reading the FAQ etc all seem way over complicated.  Just copy the App Data -Roaming-Stardock folder to another drive then copy to the new App Data - roaming - stardock -backup when done.
