how do i get fences to roll up

Sorry to hear you are having issues. On my system, I can simple rollup my Fences just by double click on the titlebar. If you can't rollup maybe you have your fences locked. Please unlock it and try again. Once you have roll it up you can lock it back and that roll up-down still work.

Sorry, I just realize that you mentioned you on Fences v2. Not really sure if Fences v2 have roll up function. But I am sure Fences v3 has it. I was informed that Fences V2 does not have roll-up function. You will need to upgrade to Fences V3 to get that function. https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/download

I have v 4.0.0.3. It shows the roll up function, but double clicking on fence title (while locked or unlocked) doesn't work either.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I'll pass for now on running the 188-line Purge_Fences.bat file with its 12 registry hacks and lots of other scary looking code Basj. I'm curious why you do not at least advise setting a restore point first, and don't care to be a beta tester for you your company.

RHMartin .... the Purge bat files are tried and tested, and safe.  Support will never suggest anything otherwise....;)
