stardock start 10 shutdown and restart not working

stardock start 10 shutdown and restart not working. Running win 10 pro Build 18362.19h1 release 190318-1202.

When I click the shutdown or restart, the mouse just pops in the center of the screen and nothing happens.  The link on the start 10 menu where you click "windows 10 menu" only works sometimes.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please do the purge and reinstall steps mention here : https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling

Re-download the latest version again from your account.  Also make sure to reboot after the purge, reinstall, recommended to install in default directory, reboot again after the installation finish. Report back here.

Thank you,

Ok, did as requested.  The clicking of the "windows 10 menu" function works now just fine, I can click that and the original windows 10 startmenu will display, I can then use the power button to turn off and restart with no problem. But the Start 10 power option still does not work. No matter what I click, "shut down, Restart" the mouse just snaps to the center of the screen. I probably should mention I have object desktop, But its not running. Only thing I am using is the Start 10 and Windows blinds.

Are you using an admin or limited user account?

Admin account. I even set security manually for start 10 last night for creator and system admin rights. Trying about everything. I am part of the Insider program and 1 and a half weeks ago, I installed the new creator updates again to the version of 10 from my first post. Thats when the problem started. Is there a "module" like an .exe or a .dll for your power setting? If so, I can try to adjust the rights to that file itself. Today when running a debug program, I noticed the intel management engine was interferring with a jump call routine in the windows 10 "logoff" function. I will disable the IEME engine tomorrow when I get time to see if that solves it. Thank you for your help

Did the options say shutdown or shutdown and install updates?

It is possible something else is causing problems certainly and insider builds often have 'undocumented features'

Shutdown. Actually, Problem solved itself. Said I had a windiowblinds update and after it did, problem is gone. So solved...
