Thanks. Few more questions.

1) Is this issue WB theme dependent? Does the issue also appear on any Default WB themes? (Themes that come along with WB) If yes please list down few themes. If no, please list down that are, but not come along with WB, preferably free themes that come from Wincustomize.com.

2) Is the issue appear on curtain programs only? or any program. If only curtain programs, list down which that easily recreated.

Thanks

Well as you can see it does it with Total Commander and the Operating system itself on the dialogs. I use the paid skin Venom, but it has done this on other skins. Anyway if I am the only one having this issue then I will continue doing what I always do and reload the skin. If you tried it and it did not do it then I will assume it is me because here it does it every time I push Alt-Control-Delete.

Thanks again,

Dana

With 10.84, Firefox skins but the text in the title bar is missing unless I hover the cursor over any of the Maximize/Minimize/Close controls.

Cursor disappears when doing a screen capture, but the "X"button is highlighted.

Also, it has been a long time since I've had a bug where the Start menu option has no background if one chooses the default OS button rather than the one provided by the skin. This was a problem before and it went away after an update, but it returned after a later update.

EDIT: I should note that the issues above happen with any skins, whether provided or downloaded. And computer/Firefox have been restarted.

Yes, I see the issue too. Yet, it better than not able to skin at all. And I think the issue is with Firefox not playing nice with Windowblinds.

Not seeing that. I am using Windows Snipping Tools for this one

Can you fix the issue about notepad++ & visual studio 2019

visual studio 2019 background problem

You could try going into your WB config and excluding those programs in the Per application area.

That looks to be a systemwide colour issue at least for VS 2019.

Systemwide colours are by their nature system wide, so if a skin sets the default window colour to grey and then an app uses that colour it will get grey.  This is not something that can be excluded and you can either edit the skin to not use a colour like that for window colour, or use another skin that doesn't alter those colours.

notepad++

The system color that's giving you trouble there is Button Face.  I haven't found a way to change the text color on either the active or inactive tab, or the inactive tab color.  I suspect those may be coded into Notepad++.  Button face to pink here:

Button face does get used (and abused) in many places, so it's best to change it only slightly if you decide to do that.

I excluded notepad++ & visual studio 2019 but the result is the same

When I used default theme, VS2019 could not have this issue.

Quoting dunmer2007,

Thanks for the response! It is because I ordered windowblinds with Obj Desktop, so that means I do not have a separate windowblinds download link...

Strange transparency bug on Windows 10 Explorer's menubar.

1) Is that Windows 10 v2004? Use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers to be sure.

2) Is the issue on all Style or just Acrylic 7 only? And your light green Windows background don't look like its default Acrylic 7 style. Did you modified Acrylic style or you have a 3rd party apps installed for that.

Thank you,

Hi, thanks for your quick response.

1. Yes it's Windows 10 2004, build 19041.264.

2. The style Arcylic 7, Diamond has this issuse,  but 'The Captain' works good on my pc.

I use Stardock SkinStudio 10 to modify the style's windows background color to light green.

btw, i installed Mactype(http://www.mactype.net) to improve font rendering on windows.

That is an insider build, which is not supported.

I don't see that issue on my V1909 box. So Not really sure what is the issue here. Anyway, I have forwarded your questions/problems to the Stardock Support team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

I would suggest uninstalling MacType and seeing if that resolves the problem as I believe it probably will.

Hi, i uninstalled mactype but it still happens. I did more test and found out it seems the text color  is affected by the background image. Here is some screenshots.

black bg

white bg

purple bg

light green bg

Hello,

Yes, that seem to happen when you change some system colors. Best choice is to restore the default style, Acrylic 7 https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/7093/ and see if that bar background to be dark gray
