How do I deactivate Start8 and get the default Windoews 10 start?

I've been using Start8 for some years and continued with this on Windows 10. Now I want to use the default Windows 10 start button. I tried deactivatingthe licence, which worked but the Windows 10 start button didn't work - it did nothing.

Hello,

To remove Start 8 https://forums.stardock.com/486022/start10-support-faq#reinstalling then Reboot.

To Deactivate https://forums.stardock.com/486311/accounts-and-activation-support-faq#deactivateproduct

Reboot.
