unable to activate multiplicity

from Stardock Forums

Greetings I just ordered a copy of Multiplicity.  I paid with paypal. I received a confirmation to my paypal email address (mpaypal@xxxxxx.com) with my Order reference STARDOCK190821-9552-45603)  and my license key ending in -D4C7A.  However when I try to activate the product using mPayPal@xxxxxx.com, I get a error message saying that the email is not valid for the license key.   I have an account, mstardock@sxxxxxx.com,  that I have most of my products including 2 other multiplicity accounts.  I tried that email in the activation dialog to no avail.  I even tried merging the two into my stardock@xxxxxxxw.com account but the new order doesn't show up there either even though it said the merge was successful.  Any suggestions?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. It is possible the error was due to your paypal email address and the email address you use to activate the product is not the same? "mpaypal@" vs "mPayPal@" Please try again using "mpaypal@" and let us know if you still need our assistance.

I've tried both versions.  the "mpaypal@...." was the address in my email from stardock and cleverbridge.   My paypal profile has "mPayPal@...."   I seemed to be stuck in some sort of limbo.
