Hi, i would like to know if there are any good strategys for playing against vicious, i like to play random vast maps and have defeated every difficulty level except vicious, any help will be appreciated, cheers
I guess, I am a bit too late here, and since I am not sure, if you are even still playing the game, will keep the post short.
Vicious ai has the advantage of 7x income. So your goal is to decrease the gap between you and him as fast as possible, with rapid colonization. This should not be too hard. Once the gap is closed down to something like 2:1 or at least 3:1, you can begin to fight the ai.
Also to survive until that point, use defences, as they are much more cost efficient than ships.
