fence vs folder

pz explain the difference

my goal is to use fences as a means to store favorite folders

(well the shortcut to the favorite folder)

but when I drag a folder from explorer ( to fence or folder)

it seems to drag the actual folder to the desktop

 - I WANT the folder to stay where it is on my computer

 

also - there does not seem to be a context menu in my right click on the folder in explorer

Hello,

For that you will need to create "Portal Fences" instead normal Fence. With a portal fences it will just like a portal to any folders of your choice. Try it and let us know if you still need our assistance.

but forgive me for remaining confused?

when I drag a box on desktop, I get 2 choices -- "fence" or "portal folder"

so how do make a "portal fence" :omg:
