Start10 Search Fails on Multiple Monitor Setup

I own Start10 and really like its search function over that of the default Windows 10 search. However, the ability to type to find the app you're interested in doesn't work for me on anything but the main monitor. I do use Display Fusion to control my three monitors. Switching the search to the default Windows 10 search fixes the issue, but with the obvious unwanted reality of having to use that instead of Start10's search.

If I select the Start button and begin typing the system just ignores my typing.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Can you try to rebuild the indexing. You can do it by Control Panel -> Indexing Options -> Advanced -> Rebuild.

Try than and let us know if you still need assistance.

Thanks

That didn't solve anything, but I did find out a bit more.

1. I had the searches backwards. I was using Windows 10's search to start and now am using Start10's search. I'm not sure I like this one as much.

2. I found out that when I type on the start menu of the non-primary monitor that what's happening is that the search is taking place ON the main monitor. I didn't notice this before as my secondary monitor is my home theater and that screen is nowhere near my PC. So what appeared to be the system ignoring my input was simply a case of the search showing up on the main monitor. That's still useless as I need to see it on the secondary monitor (that I'm on).

So, given this, I may stay with Start10's search as it works, but would still likely to know how to get Windows 10's Cortana search to work as it should on multiple monitors.

End of quote

If you turn this off, does anything change?
