ICONPACKAGER MAKE PC CRUSHED

Just order Object Desktop and install them all! 

All other software works fine. BUT when comes to icon packager, My PC crushed down immediately.

I have tried:

1.reboot the PC and try to run the software several times : same issue

2.uninstall icon packager, PC crushed again

3.check regedit and no issue found

4.Run scf /scannow and retry: issue remain

5.kill antivirus apps and retry: issue remain

 

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try the purge and reinstall steps : https://forums.stardock.com/485953/iconpackager-support-faq#reinstalling

Please redownload the latest installer from your account. Install that version. Don't forget to reboot before and after the installation.

Retest and report back.

I check the link about pruge and reinstall. But Maybe because the china firewall, I can't get in and download the bat file.

I don't think this related to that software because I didn't install that and I had to restore my system. I just posted about this here:

There is some SERIOUS issues with one of more softwares and it should be removed from the store. I have researched now and more than once person is claiming software from StarDock is crashing or corrupting their Windows 10 installation which is extremely concerning. I can't imagine someone losing all their data because they installed one single software.
