Start10 updae fails

Windows Defender

Windows Defender has a "ransome ware" setting to prohibit programs directly changing memory or files.  When this function is active, start10 updates fails to complete and start10 does not start the next time the system is booted.  I turn off the feature, reinstall start10 and everything works again.  I turn the windows defender function back on and all is normal again until the next start 10 update.  The windows version is the version that will be released very soon as the October 2018 update.

Yes that setting is there on my PCs.  Can't tell if there is still a problem until the next time that Start10 requires and update.

I did exactly this, using the purge.bat and rebooted. During the bat-process it could not delete a lot of files. So I had to Ignore all of them. Then I rebooted and tried to install "Start10-sd-setup.exe". Same error again.

The problem is, I can't go to the path in the error message since I don't have the folder "public" in my user folder. And after the search in C: there is no bottomleft.png to find.

Error message

But no panic. I'm using Classic Shell and it works fine.

Thanks.
